Frosty Squirrel CPA is a unique professional corporation located in Calgary, Alberta offering a range of financial services to small to medium-sized businesses, start-ups, entrepreneurs, and individuals. As an experienced chartered professional accountant, Frosty Squirrel offers accounting services, bookkeeping, tax services, managerial advisory, fractional controller and CFO services in Calgary and across Canada. A fully remote firm in Canada established in 2020 during the start of the pandemic, we have embraced technology and the efficiency it brings. While not specifically a tax accountant, we do provide business and personal tax in our accounting firm offering.
As of this posting, Frosty Squirrel’s managing partner is Adrian Hodgson, CPA, CA, an accountant in Calgary since 2012, when he moved from New Brunswick.

The current goal is to become the best Calgary firm focusing on the accounting needs of our owner-managed clients allowing them to grow their businesses and by doing so grow the city of Calgary, the province of Alberta and the nation of Canada. To best serve our clients and achieve this goal we would like to expand into various industries, eventually expanding into accounting software that would greatly improve the experience of Canadian businesses, but this is still a few years out. Where did the name Frosty Squirrel come from?
At the start of my, Adrian Hodgson, career I provided assurance and advisory services in a value-added audit capacity to Northwest Territories indigenous organizations at a Calgary-based firm. Travelling to the NWT at certain times of the year, you become quite frosty. Over the many years of my life, I also developed a nickname of Giant Squirrel, as I felt Adrian Hodgson Professional Corporation sounded like a dusty book left on a shelf, I elected to create Frosty Squirrel.
